Narrative Designer at Massive Entertainment/Ubisoft. Expect nonsense about video games, books, writing, counter-culture, occultism and whatever random hobby I'm obsessed with this month. He/him.
Completely agree. Outlaws is full of genius design, is an unbelievably immersive and evocative interpretation of Star Wars, and has some top-tier writing. It’s the pinnacle of the Ubisoft format. They even fixed a bunch of the things that didn’t work for some folk in free patches. Amazing game.
Peeps saying we're about to enter a golden age for Star Wars games when Star Wars Outlaws launched 2 years ago today smh. Yeah. I'll say it. IMO Outlaws is the goat star wars game and I'm not asking for your rebuttals because you'd be wrong and I want to save you the embarrassment.
Against my better judgment I picked up #MortalShell2. It is, of course, kicking my ass. So the question I have to ask myself is if I actually care about Achievements, or if I put on the "easy mode" equipment item. I guess it's also the question of what a Soulslike actually is to me.
And there it is, Echoes of Central Park, the DLC we're working on! To quote our own socials - "get ready to explore Central Park for the first time and uncover the mysteries it holds". #thedivision2
I adore Tim Curry in general, but to me personally, the one role of his that's been the most impactful is his voice acting for Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. I can still hear some of his voice lines in my head. May he be granted the accomplishment of his true Will.
I'm so tempted by #MortalShell2, it looks super neat, but judging from the discussions I found about difficulty it seems like it will kick my ass. And with no co-op, I'd probably be screwed. That's honestly how I got through most From games (and why I failed at Sekiro). I'm bad at gitting gud.
Two pieces of concept art from our upcoming DLC have now been released, the second one just today! #thedivision2
Was accepted to religious studies at Uppsala University this fall, 50% distance course. Woo! Not sure if I have the time, but let's give it a try. But I forgot how crazy expensive student litterature can be. Books for two courses out of four? $260 dollars 下さい. Oof.
Another gem found - an illustrated version of Robert Anton Wilson's quite special #Discordian screenplay Reality is What You Can Get Away With. Love the cover of this edition. Can anyone give me a few million dollars so I can try to make this movie a reality? #raw #discordia
This is 100% why people who've been on X for years now get so weirdly bummed out by Bluesky or any other site. It isn't that bsky is a 'bubble', it's that being a shithead in the replies gets you an immediate nuclear-block, rather than immediately rewarded with Skinner-box treats

Got a new tattoo on my chest yesterday (from a pain perspective, do not recommend), and I had forgotten how much they can itch. Lots of fine lines in this one. I'm slightly dying now.
Remedy continues to demonstrate that narrative is worthy of investment. People want stories. Good stories take time, expertise and patience/trust from devs who are less au fait with its mechanics (because it IS every bit as mechanical and design heavy as every other aspect of your game).
Alan Wake 2's lifetime sales have exceeded 3 million copies Control Resonant - 1.5 million wishlists across platforms. Healthy momentum on preorders, game tracking well against comparable titles in its launch window storage.googleapis.com/inderes-widg...
Somehow someone had managed to book Einstürzende Neubauten for the local Malmö festival. They put on a great show, and Blixa was in a very good mood. A very nice surprise indeed.
And thus ends six weeks of vacation. It's been good, but with a soon-four-year-old at home I would hardly call it relaxing. But it's been good, and I've managed to disconnect completely from work. Now it's time to try to get back to regular life. It's not gonna be easy, but I'm sure it'll be fun.
"But I can't leave the fascist owned X, some lib was mean to me on Bluesky." There are no good excuses to stay on X anymore.
More than half of accounts posting about violence in Belfast & Southampton on X were based overseas. Only 4 of the 12 most-seen posts were from the UK. X is now "“a weapon of choice” for hostile foreign actors seeking to manipulate shocking & divisive content". www.theguardian.com/world/2026/a...
Have you ever been interested in seeing the infamous The Rites of Eleusis performed as a rock opera? Now is your chance! We are blessed to have these amazing performances of these classic rituals by Aleister Crowley now on YouTube.
Vimeo is changing their terms of service. We looked at moving all of our videos to another service. All were either prohibitively expensive, or would post our work to streaming services, charging our fans $$$ and paying us nickels. So, they're all on YouTube now. Enjoy! youtube.com/playlist?lis...
Final Fantasy XIV on Switch 2 is a little wonder. Visited Limsa, the main hub of the game. The place was *packed* with players, and the game ran without any issues. Tanked a trial, no problems at all. And it's perfect as handheld, cozied up in the couch. #finalfantasyxiv #ffxiv
On a whim I decided to log in to the classic MMO Rift. Have so many fond memories of that game, including raiding back in the day. Recently there was an initiative for a community revival, and there even seems to be a few devs back on the project. Would love to see it get some more love.
Because we glorify wealth above all else and it breaks people's brains to realize that the world's richest man is basically a stormfront poster and is responsible for killing millions of people. They'd rather not think about it at all. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/29/o...

#Saros is one pretty game (and Rahul Kohli one pretty man). I sucked at Returnal, let's see how this one goes... I hope what people said about Saros being easier is true. Let's also see what "easier" actually means in this context.
Laziness is never the reason a feature does not exist in a video game.
I mean, if it’s an indie game like there’s only one person who made it, then it’s fine but if it’s a big game studio that does this, that’s just being completely lazy and just unjustifiable because they have a whole team while indie games are just usually a very small group, 1 to 5 which isn’t a lot
Another day, another celebration of a Greater Feast, this time Malaclypse the Younger (Greg Hill, 1941-2000), co-founder of #Discordianism (together with Kerry Thornley). May you have the knowledge of a sage, and the wisdom of a child. Hail Eris! #discordia #fnord #eris
microsoft is in full damage control mode following last week's layoffs. its main strategy so far? namedrop sequels to popular series at every turn. but despite what execs like asha sharma might want you to think, those series were made by people, and now they'll never be the same

Today's book arrivals. The revised edition of M. Dionysius Rogers/Tau Polyphilus' Fire in the Reed: The Work of Thelemic Gnostic Clergy, and a cool curiosity I had never seen before - the "proceedings of the Ninth International Symposium of Thelemic Magick" from 1994. #thelema #occult #books #magick
In small town Hungary. This is a part of an old power plant from the communist era. It is quite imposing, yet kinda beautiful. What the picture doesn't really show is that someone has sprayed "Fortnite" on one of the supports. Because of course.
Today, July 12, we celebrate the Greater Feast of Grady McMurtry/Hymenaeus Alpha, poet, writer, magician, Thelemite, owner of an epic beard, and a very influential figure in 20th century #occultism and #Thelema. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grady_L...
"The medium is the message. If you touch it you're cooked." GenAI is a reputation killer. No one wants it. Everyone hates it.
I find this really interesting. Even if you don't despise genAI as much as I do, if you're making art, it doesn't matter how nuanced you think the conversation is, and these hosts are 100% right -- the medium is the message and if you touch genAI, you're cooked.
Reading @stephenking.bsky.social's On Writing while trying to figure out a good Dark Tower reading order. Finished The Strand (fucking amazing) for the first time and The Gunslinger. Started The Drawing of the Three, but after that? The Internet sure doesn't agree on a good order. #darktower #books
