Los Angeles is carrying a deep, shared trauma right now. We are still reeling from every blow this city has been dealt over the past few years. From the trauma of isolation in an already segregated town during the ongoing pandemic and the collapse of multiple vital industries, (1/10)

On the contrary, one of the points made by @raeforla.com in her campaign is that in this city the cost to collect the fare is actually about as much as the fare takes in, so eliminating the fare is actually no real monetary loss.
