A space to connect for parents, and other adults concerned about what the climate crisis means for the children and young people in their lives, and pushing for the change needed to protect them and future generations.

👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾🌍Our kids need an emergency response to the dramatic worsening of the climate emergency we are seeing unfold. We're writing to the Taoiseach as parents & caregivers calling on him to 'step up for children and future generations' as he promised. 🖊Please sign & share my.uplift.ie/petitions/ta...

Taoiseach - Step up and act for children now on the climate emergency.

Protecting our children from harm is the most basic responsibility and instinct of being a parent. The devastation we have seen across Europe this summer - thousands dying, including infants and young...

More and more, Daragh O'Brien is demonstrating how unfit he is for the jobs of Minister for Climate and Minister for Transport. @fiannafailparty.bsky.social

People of Ireland! #YourJourneyCounts Except of course if you’re this guy! Our Minister for Transport & Climate chose to FLY to Kerry this week. The most recklessly polluting journey he could possibly choose. Even as Europe burns.

People of Ireland! #YourJourneyCounts
Except of course if you’re this guy!

Our Minister for Transport & Climate chose to FLY to Kerry this week.

The most recklessly polluting journey he could possibly choose. Even as Europe burns.

Our Dept of Transport tells us:
‘Every sustainable journey helps reduce Ireland’s transport emissions.’

"If they pass into law, the Strategic Gas Reserve Bill & Passenger Capacity Bill would create a dangerous precedent, allowing the Government to dismantle the Climate Act piece by piece when faced with choices that conflict with its legal obligation to decarbonise." www.irishtimes.com/opinion/2026...

Opinion: The Government is trying to undermine climate laws. President Connolly could stop it

The potentially irreversible impacts of climate change will be experienced by our children and grandchildren

We're glad to have co-signed this complaint to @rte.ie . Appalling that our national broadcaster did not address climate change in the Presidential debates. Young people deserved to hear what their next President thought on the issue most shaping their future. www.irishtimes.com/environment/...

We agree @darylfeehely.com . Prime Time were emailed by many people about including climate change as a key issue last night. What a message it sends to children and young people that their national broadcaster actively chose to exclude the issue that will most determine their collective futures.

Daryl Feehely@darylfeehely.com · 10mo ago

Not that fox hunting, a trip to Syria etc aren't relevant issues, but it would have been great if they were asked a forward looking Q about climate change & how they will use the Presidency to promote climate action. You know, the massive existential threat to society, that issue. #Áras25 #rtept

We fully agree @caugustenborg.bsky.social . @rte.ie has most especially failed children and young people on this issue. They should know what the next President's views are on the issue which will most shape their collective futures.

Dr. Cara Augustenborg@caugustenborg.bsky.social · 10mo ago

I'm heart broken Ireland's national broadcaster stuck to same old 7 questions tonight on #áras25 presidential debate & avoided the climate question several of us begged them to ask. We learned nothing new of candidates' positions on major global/national challenges. RTE has failed the public.

We'll be having our next online community call - Thurs 6/11 at 8pm. For any parents worried about what's ahead for kids and who want urgent climate action to protect them. Parents for Future Ireland November Community Call Date: 6 nov • 20:00 www.eventbrite.ie/e/parents-fo...

🤨We've emailed the Taoiseach after his shocking comments saying he doesn't think we "can mitigate for climate change". It's the State's duty to protect kids from harm through urgent reduction in pollution. 📨Will you remind him of this too? Take 2 minutes and email taoiseach@taoiseach.gov.ie.
