It really isn't a "conspiracy theory" to state that at least one of the reasons Burnham won't investigate Epstein's abuses in the UK is because he was given his seat and enabled to become PM by Labour Together, an org founded and managed by acolytes of Epstein's friend Peter Mandelson.

Burnham not considering public inquiry into UK activities of Jeffrey Epstein

Victims’ minister said earlier that PM was ‘looking into’ inquiry into Epstein and another into Mohamed Al Fayed

I don’t blame the public for this: most people will be looking at this slack jawed wondering what the fuck is going on. And the answer is: the British media/political class has driven itself insane trying to reconcile a decade of its own nonsensical, contradictory, idiotic bullshit.

I understand why Luciana and others are unable to forgive Joshua, I do.
My Catholicism says I should forgive if put in a similar position, but none of us can say how we would feel if we were so cruelly targeted - especially while pregnant.
I don't think people who have committed atrocious acts should get a free pass in life.
However, I do think extremism is such a scourge in society that those who have dedicated themselves to trying to counter it should be able to earn a hearing.
If the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism can note his contribution, then I do think it is a shame that the Board of Deputies have decided not to meet him. I would hope that a young man who has renounced anti-semitism and now actively fights against it is exactly the kind of person they would engage with.In my view if we are going to properly address anti-semitism, I want people on our side who take it seriously and I want there to be a way back for people who have been radicalised to serve our country again if they have provably renounced their past.
1 am afraid it is completely inconsistent for Reform to argue for a return to Christian values, but then argue against redemption for young people like Joshua or George Abaraonye, who I also defended despite saying something grotesque and being in no way a Conservative.
And I have even less time for the Labour figures who were quite happy to serve Corbyn whilst anti-semitism ran rife, who have championed an Islamophobia definition criticised by counter-terrorism experts, and who only now decide to speak up for the Jewish community.
But my main hope is that Joshua's last few years educating people against extremism turns into many decades more, and that he can stop others from following the appalling path that he did.

#nowplaying Charles Lloyd ‘going rock‘ a duo of oddly endearing, records that can be had for buttons. Feature a bunch of 60s heavy hitters, butthe music is almost outsiderish in places. somewhere between Lou Reed and that Keith Jarrett folk album. Love records like this.

Thinking again about the marble Bari Weiss bust that's set up in the common room of the fake 'University of Austin' university she started in property owned by Harlan Crowe, the billionaire Nazi memorabilia collector that bought a Supreme Court justice

This bust does not look like Bari Weiss, it looks like someone 20 years younger and definitely not like Bari Weiss, no offence to Bari, she looks her age and pretty rough, as most of us do when we get older, but Bari never looked like this. I don't think you should be able to lie about yourself by making yourself look a lot better in a marble bust in the common room of a fake university based in property from by a Nazi memorabilia collector that had fascist creep Curtis Yarvin come speak to a bunch of kids, you do not look this good, Bari, stop lying all the time, nobody believes you

"Those in favour of women's rights versus those in favour of trans rights" - 5 minutes on the BBC and it's really not a surprise that the UK has turned into one of the most transphobic countries among developed democracies

welcome to this instalment of ‘Internet Sleuthing If One Of Your Favourite Musicians Is A Proud Zionist‘ let’s play!

I remember this, it’s John Kay, who drowned his wife then drove head-on into a bridge to plead ‘diminished capacity’. The Sun kept a position open for him while he was committed, then in their obit called him ‘the greatest journalist of his generation’ and ‘everybody's mate’

I remember one time when some journo cunt died (who had literally killed his fucking wife) and all the other journo cunts on twitter started eulogising him like he was a great and lovely man, even when it was pointed out he had killed his wife. Now to check the reaction to Rod Liddle dying
