A 20 year old dude who talks about video games and their soundtracks that I like (mostly Nintendo & SEGA). If you're also into that jazz, welcome! :D Twitter: x.com/PhanTum926

So it turns out that Ryota Kawade, director of the first three Paper Mario games, directed Dragon Hopper. Not only was this the first game that he directed but also the ONLY game he directed outside of the Paper Mario series.

I've been playing it a little more and... This actually kinda gives me Paper Mario vibes. Considering this was developed by Intelligent Systems and was scrapped one year before PM64 started development, I wouldn't be surprised if some of this game's ideas were carried over.

The sentiment that "Nintendo is neglecting Mario" is so funny to me because Mario is one of the biggest mainstays of the company. On average, it's been releasing at least 2 games per year, and branching out with countless other media, merchandise, etc. That's nowhere near "dormant".

"Why has Nintendo been neglecting Mario so much lately?" Try being a Rhythm Heaven fan before Groove, or a Pikmin fan before 4, or a Metroid Prime fan. Mario fans are literally always eating good, you guys have nothing to worry about.

I would be shocked if the PS6 ends up becoming a hit, with this decision moving forward. Taking away the option of purchasing games that's been relevant since the very beginning, and also tripling down on this situation should be enough to kill off an audience.

PlayStation is not backing down from its plan to end physical game disc production in 2028 🎮 "We put in a lot of thought and time, and we cautiously considered this, and we came to this conclusion, and we're going to cautiously move this forward"

Since that DK Challenge event is a limited time thing, I wonder if Nintendo would consider bringing it back, this time, with different franchises. I would love to see NES Remix-styled missions on the Mario, Zelda, and Metroid games.

I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but sometimes, I do enjoy video games that are out of my reach to beat more than just hating on them. In fact, my enjoyment motivates me to get better over time.

People exaggerate the hell outta Nintendo nuking fan projects. Like yeah, it happens. But for every one that gets cancelled or taken down, there are like 5 others to look into. Yeah, it sucks when one does get taken down, but posting Nintendo Ninjas every time crops up isn't funny anymore.

Nintendo Music often gives us official names for songs for the first time. This is just a thing for video game soundtracks in general. Video game soundtracks releases weren’t really a thing back then, especially for Nintendo games, so fans often just make up names for the tracks.

I still genuinely want to know who is ever the first person to come up with the name "Creative Exercise" from Mario Paint. I think that song title sounds more fitting than all the official ones Nintendo provided.

I'm almost certain that Raiders will have an actual CD release before the full soundtrack on Nintendo Music, as every other Splatoon game already has one in a few months after launch. This might be one of the same reasons as Side Order's case for the long-await.

Wouldn't it be neat if there's another fighting game mascot in Smash? I mean, crossovers have been an identity for fighting games, especially the arcade-styled ones. That being said, I'd love to see Akira from Vitrua Fighter break out of his assist trophy, since I want more Sega representation.

Congratulations! You have been personally chosen by the creator of Smash Bros to add ONE character into the next game. the only rule is that they have to originate from a video game. who are YOU choosing?
