Free Roam tracks from Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit have been added to Mario Kart World's soundtrack on Nintendo Music!

The "New arrivals" Home page section has been re-added to Nintendo Music. This is the same section that was added alongside the 26 NES games last year, as evidenced by that Recent highlights post becoming visible again.

July 2026 is a wrap! As the Nintendo Music Top Tracks playlist is no longer being updated, all top tracks are included in the stats this time. Please note the equivalent figure for last time would've been 4,076. July was quite interesting to say the least. For one, it's the first time we've (1/6)

June's over, putting us halfway through 2026! I'd say it's been a pretty strong first year for Nintendo Music so far. Let's talk June though. A few minor updates aside, the month kicked off in a pretty major way with both long awaited features and a long awaited soundtrack. (1/6)

Some minor updates to Nintendo Music today: * Pauline now appears as a related playlist for Mario Kart World, suggesting that Free Roam with Super Mario Odyssey is coming soon. * The Japanese track name for "Pounce Bounce Isle" from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was fixed. (1/2)

Mario's Tennis, Teleroboxer, Galactic Pinball, Mario Clash and Virtual Boy Wario Land have been added to Nintendo Music!

The Nintendo Music web application has been updated from version 1.1.0 to version 1.2.0. Only change I've noticed is that the menu on the left now appears condensed until hovered over, freeing up more space for the main portion of the app. The recent highlights date issue has not been resolved.

Nine tracks from Splatoon Raiders have been added to Nintendo Music!

Nintendo Music has been updated to version 1.6.3, but no changes were detailed. The playlist limit has not been increased, despite it appearing to already be impacting official playlists... I think it might be safe to conclude that they aren't planning to increase it anytime soon, unfortunately.

As with F-Zero 99 last week, the Nintendo Music Top Tracks playlist has not been updated to include tracks from Donkey Kong Bananza. This is likely to avoid that playlist reaching the 4000 track limit until they increase it (if they do that at all).

The Nintendo Music Playlist Database has been updated with new sheets that sort general playlists, character playlists, and Splatoon artist playlists by various metrics! Sheets sorting soundtrack-specific playlists and all playlists may be added in the future.

F-ZERO 99 has been added to Nintendo Music!

I received some really good suggestions for the Nintendo Music Information Database, so I've implemented the following: The "Soundtracks sorted" sheet has been updated with 3 new lists, sorting soundtracks by how many tracks are *not* top tracks, by how long their *longest* tracks are, (1/2)

#1. Nintendo Music Information Database A Google Sheets spreadsheet full of information about every track on the service taken from the public API, including things the app doesn't show like exact track lengths and sample rates. docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

In addition to the Nintendo Music updates mentioned previously, the track image for "12:00 AM - Clear" from Animal Crossing has been replaced. My resources (see my pinned post) have been updated to reflect all of today's updates.

The track "Opening Theme" from [Special Release] Star Fox has been updated on Nintendo Music, changing the track's name to "Main Theme (Bonus Track)" and replacing the track's image.
