If the Federal government continues to make these challenges won't fund legal aid and shelter for unaccompanied kids, New York State has to. We protect our youngest - no exceptions. These are children! nysfocus.com/2026/07/31/t...

Congratulations NYC for finishing your budget process! Glad it wasn't 57 days late like ours. But the bigger issue remains: the City needs about $3 billion in new revenue authority to fund the public services we'll need going forward. The State must authorize this with the Fair Share Act.

As long as I have been serving in Albany, @bradlander.bsky.social has been my partner in City Government. I am proud to endorse his race for congress, where he will challenge fascism, fight to abolish ICE, and above all bring morality to the halls of Washington-where it is sorely needed.

Proud to support @phara4assembly.bsky.social for re-election, and to have her support in my campaign for Congress! Phara has consistently been on the front lines of fights for tenants' rights, healthcare access, and protecting our immigrant neighbors. (1/2)

Cross-endorsement: Brad Lander for Congress and Phara Souffrant Forest for State Assembly

Why should your electric bill go up so Big Tech can run more AI servers? Yesterday, the Assembly passed a data center permit moratorium and addressed rate impacts so ordinary people aren't subsidizing corporate AI expansion. Technology can do good, just not on our dime.

Yesterday, I voted NO on a budget bill that fails to tax the wealthy and invest in our communities. I won’t bow down to millionaires, billionaires, and oligarchs; I will keep fighting to protect our communities from federal cuts to healthcare, SNAP, and housing.
