I think the most significant line is the close, claiming to have won against party reformers . . Bichotte basically admitting packing the Executive Committee with her appointees is being undertaken to halt the duly elected leaders from taking steps to curb her power.

Two-and-a-half hours into the meeting, after eight of 10 of the new rules had passed in the vote, District Leader Kenésha Traynham-Cooper—who lost her election in June, but was still invited to vote on the new rules—is heard suddenly stopping the meeting, indicating it has become clear to her that someone is leaking the votes in real time. In fact, the New Kings Democrats—the reformist bloc of the party—had already posted to social media the names of all the representatives who had voted in line with Bichotte HermelynSeddio's invocation of integrity has another member muse out loud: "Talking about integrity. Why are the windows blocked up?" That member, who Hell Gate could not identify by voice alone, sets off a reaction in the fiery Seddio, who has long held the district leader position for the 59th assembly district, which includes Mill Basin. "This is our club. It's the way we do things. If you don't like it? Go the fuck out!," he yells. (At this point, the room collectively gasps, "Whoa!")
