Barrister. Dad. Lib Dem. Sunderland fan. Massive history geek. Like a pint. One day I will make a load of pogs with Brian Noble’s face on them. You see if I don’t.

I almost don’t know where to start with this bullshit. You give someone a car with a dribble of petrol left and all the warning lights on. Then when 1 min later they run out of fuel and are on the phone to the AA because the radiator just exploded you chide them for not looking after their car.

Fantastic for #safc to start off the Europa League campaign with a win. Alkmaar are a good side. Le Fee had some stones to slot that home like that. Would love to see Brobbey get his confidence up by netting a few and we need to make more of the chances we make but still an awesome result 💪🔴⚪️🔴⚪️

My kid loves this YouTube guy called Preston who just plays loads of Minecraft and plays pranks on people. He’s basically a nice guy, he’s harmless, it’s essentially good clean fun. Christ I cannot stand him. He’s excessively youthful, energetic and a mutli millionaire. But is he happy? Yes obvs.

Reform UK given record £36m donation from crypto billionaire Ben Delo

The sum comes after a summer dominated by scrutiny of Nigel Farage's party, including an ongoing criminal investigation into allegations it breached rules on political donations.

I bet all those British tourists planning their Israeli getaway holidays are thinking twice now. Well done to the PM and Foreign Secretary for this. There will be counter arguments advanced I’m sure but meaningfully calling out the Netanyahu regime is long overdue.

Watching BBC News and it's striking to hear the presenters repeatedly referring to the AfD as "far-right" whilst refusing to ever say the same about the hundreds of actual masked blackshirts currently swarming British ports

It's great to hear that Burnham is still committed to a fair voting system. But words are no longer enough. Now he's got the power to deliver the change he's long advocated for. So what is he waiting for? Our message to the PM is simple: the time for PR is now. ⏰

Look at this thick prick talking about needing a good pen and some intelligence and then holding the pen like it might bite him and mixing up lower and upper case letters throughout the 2 whole words that he writes. I’m beyond being kind about people who continue to back him. #trump #lakeamerica

Trump has completely lost the plot hasn’t he? Remember when people looked up to the US President? Might not have liked the individual but assumed they were clever and talented. That seems like a loooooong time ago.

There is literally nothing that boils my piss about Farage more than this. Look at the data. Illegal migration went through the roof after the brexit that he was instrumental in bringing about and now he seeks power off the back of the problem of illegal migration. Brexit made it harder to stop dangerous Channel crossings. The Conservatives and Nigel Farage would rather point fingers than take responsibility. Lib Dems have a real plan: work with Europe to tackle it.
