What a role model. Whilst we will will stand alone to promote peace, noticeable those spreading hate are cowards and always need support.
Standing up to the balaclava nonces. Inspiring.
This decision is really encouraging - i can safely say as a criminal barrister that removing the right to be tried by jury would have done nothing for justice or the speed it travels whilst creating an army of unhappy judges and bucket load of appeals. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Courts backlog will fall despite scrapping plans to curb jury trials, Alex Norris insists

This is so true - the rape of a woman at Cornell, indeed the rape of women anywhere should shame every man and bring about a desire to change. It starts with the way we bring up our sons and continues with the way we talk to our mates. 'it's just banter' is no excuse it facilitates sexual violence.

Here’s the test for me: if you get a group of politicians together are they a. Trying to address the difficult problems of the day; Or b. Trying to think of ways to make people feel scared, vulnerable and angry. One I can live with the other can get to fuck.
Hey Suella: Betty Campbell - Welsh Colin Jackson - Welsh Shirley Bassey - Welsh Taulupe Faletau - Welsh It’s not about DNA or skin colour or whether they ‘share certain values’ - they’re Welsh because that’s how they feel and identify and I am proud to say that they are my compatriots. Easy really.

Sweet Jesus, I just spent less than a minute in the cesspool formerly known as Twitter and now I'm going to have bathe myself in Dettol.
This two tier policing is disgraceful. It's as if there is one approach for people who helpfully film themselves committing crimes and another approach when there is insufficient evidence.
The rise in small boat crossings was entirely due to Brexit, promoted by Nigel Farage, and the deal done by Boris Johnson Their attempts to shift blame to anyone else is utterly despicable hypocrisy
Let's put Nige right: Iran is only a potential threat to the Uk, because his hero, Trump invaded them; those arrested were UK nationals as such did not come across the channel in a boat; and, the act of using Brits as proxies has been a tactic used by his other hero Putin. x.com/Nigel_Farage...

Actress Susan Sarandon being arrested earlier today for protesting Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations. One is speaking out against genocide, one is committing it. One was arrested, one was not.

Mark Carney has learnt the lesson that neither Canada nor the UK can rely on the US. The EU is Britain's closest partner. EU membership is a no-brainer.

The RNLI has said the abuse of volunteers in Portsmouth has forced it to close the lifeboat station there and stop operating since September 10. Nearby stations have been providing cover to the area instead. One of the UK's largest coastal cities without a lifeboat because of the far-right.
I wonder how the people of Piddington will react when this dollop of fighting men many with criminal convictions often against women turn up to defend them?
"Reform won Durham promising to show Britain how it would govern. Now another three councillors have walked away, with one making an extraordinary allegation about what happened after she raised a serious safeguarding concern. " thedailybritain.co.uk/reform-durha... via The Daily Britain
I'm sorry - but the people of Piddington can fuck off. Well, actually, I'm not that sorry.
So here's Nigel Farage with two of his closest allies. In exhibit 1 he's with a man convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for money laundering; in exhibit 2 he's with a man convicted of treason and sentenced to 10 years for taking bribes from the Russians. We can't forget this. This is Reform UK

“Last week YouGov polling found nearly three quarters of voters (73%) believe Farage is at least fairly sleazy. And 71% believe Reform UK is similarly disreputable, up 20 points in two years” This is only going in one direction. £72Mill won’t make us like you. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...
