Today on #MenorcaWithKids: The #SonBou beach. Being 2.4 km long, it is the longest beach on Menorca. While the central part is quite crowded, the outer parts are much less packed. If you walk 5 mins to the west, you'll find plenty of space even during high season. Crystal clear and shallow water.

#MenorcaWithKids update: #Lithica near Ciutadella. An incredibly scenic old quarry that was converted into a botanical garden and concert venue. A loop trail takes you from the entrance through the gardens down into the quarry. Inside the quarry is also a maze.

#MenorcaWithKids Today, Punta Prima on the east coast. Again a very nice beach which always seems to have at least a few waves. Great infrastructure around, with a nice beach bar, shops, restaurants directly at the beach. Features also arguably Menorcas best paella restaurant Can Santi.

Update #menorcawithkids: I can highly recommend Cala La Olla, south of the airport. Crystal clear water with a huge number of fish. Perfect for snorkeling. You can park easily along the road. Need to follow a short path down to the water. Small drawbacks: Little space and water access by a ladder.

Hello bluesky, I need a recommendation for decent amateur #telescope. Basic knowledge and previous experience with a reflector is available. Focus is on planets/nebulas. Direct observation preferred but being able to later add a camera would be nice. Any ideas? #astronomy
