Turns out “road crossing volunteer” is standing next to a burn barrel in the middle of nowhere until 2am to make sure dog teams cross safely, and honestly; Ideal.
If there’s any day I hope to learn our street has Porch Pirates, it’s the one where I’ve put a 5# bag of frozen dog shit from the back yard out for my next trip to the trash can.

I am trying to talk myself into or out of trying the Dryland Dash. Banjo and I have only biked 1-1.5 mile stints on concrete so far so we would need a lot of practice. At the very least I’ll volunteer! 🫡 #uglydogs
I took Archie out for a walk with his new collar, and we passed a troop of children with teachers on their way to the park. They all wanted to stop and pet Archie, and of course we obliged- he had a blanket of children all over him while I got a dozen earfuls about family dogs and blue heelers 😂
