The best thing I've read this week. And if you're old enough to remember the zines of the 80s & 90s, you'll appreciate it any more. When zines weren't explainers but this great underground documentary current of the real lives rarely considered in glossy magazines.

So @quincemountain.bsky.social and team are out on the trail again! The race allows you to have a pool of 10 dogs to choose from each leg. Today, Waller and Blizzard subbed in for Elmo and Dora!

Someone asked me what mushers do with dog booties after use. Answer: We dry them out and reuse them! If dog toenails are kept trim and conditions are snowy, I can typically get over 100 miles out of a dog booty. (CW: some booties in disarray)
