To our dismay, the artist and author Marjane Satrapi has passed away. As she wrote, ordinary Americans and Iranians have more in common with each other than we do with either of our governments, which have far too much in common with each other. We honor her memory and oppose the war.

Please keep creating, even if you think you suck at it, please keep going. What you're doing matters so much more than you realize in a world that is actively trying to suck out creativity and heart from the world for the sake profit and greed Be the heart the world needs

We're excited to welcome back Pipes (she/her), who's doing the cover art for Volume III! Pipes is a lady of varied and refined tastes, enjoying such varied and refined things as hot people with big swords, hot people with small swords, and hot people dual-wielding swords.
Shut up and go make some art that no one is asking for
Don't let fear of cringe stop you from making the thing you want to make. Life is short, make something you love. You'll improve through the process. Someone will probably love and relate to what you made even if what you made isn't as good as you wished it was. Let it exist. <3

My partner & I made this together. It's free for non-commercial use as long as you don't modify it or claim authorship. This seal mirrors the United States seal, and represents putting an end to greed & turning towards creating a brighter future. #resist #protestart #art #resistancebird

writers gifting fic to artists based on their drawings and artists gifting art based on fics is the purest form of fandom at its core.
Creativity is like a houseplant, not an endless well. You need to seek out sunlight, water, and nutrients in art, shows, music, experiences, and more to tend to it. And just like plants it has its dormant and active periods and you may not seem improvement for some time.
