Royal Self Portrait #80

Painting X Midjourney What the stone refused to release now becomes liquid light. A copper current gathers in the soft architecture beneath the ribs, where desire learns the shape of water without ever becoming it. It does not stay. It does not leave. It circles the unopened fruit until the fruit remembers it was always meant to split. Amber without flame. Tide without moon. The second syllable of hunger spoken by what has already begun to move. Here the unnamed sweetness thickens into a slow spiral. It does not ask permission. It answers only to the pull that turns stillness into generation. Let the honey that is not taste collect where the body becomes a question of flow. Let the question answer itself by overflowing.
