The press used to do just that, until Reagan.When Reagan took office “viewers” would call and complain every time he was challenged or corrected.That’s how we got the media we have now.Repubs have been organizing against democracy for over 50 years. It’s not just Trump,the Dems need to wake up!

This war should have been over long ago. Biden had a great domestic policy but his foreign policy was a disaster. Deny arms to Ukraine but arm Israel to the teeth and enable genocide. Totally ass backwards.

You might be surprised to hear me say this, but I think Zohran Mamdani is the future of the Democratic Party. Just not for the reasons you probably think. He has a sharp strategic mind and the credibility to say uncomfortable truths to his own people and be heard rather than exiled.

I remember that also then the Reagan administration started to beat the press into submission. I know a reporter who was in major media at the time."Viewers" would complain if they reported in his bullshit or asked hard questions. That's the beginning of he said she said reporting. Now here we are.
