I finally beat Final Fantasy XII and feel sorrowful now that it's over, so I had to write this. I get that this is revenue-related, but Archives of Nethys was free labour and promotion. While writing for Paizo's games I and every other freelancer always had a million AoN tabs open. PF largely succeeds at being 'free' and 'community-friendly' in ways D&D is not. This damages that perception.

My parents were low income so I often just browsed game shops as a kid. Sometimes mum let me get a game. It'd cost her whole day's wage and a chunk of our rent. Dad once told me to check under the car seat and Pokemon Red was there in a bag. Ownership isn't the only thing we lose with physical media

Playing the Gallows Corner: A Peasant's Revolt TTRPG and a player has unlocked the "someone doesn't like you because of your radical ideas" and we've yet to do anything too radical, so I've tried to work out why folks could be miffed with us.

The "Most people rejected his message" meme with the message being "Knives are best stored in dung."
