Let me be clear what Star Trek means to me (not what we actually always saw on TV). It meant the first adult people I ever saw that didn't pretend to know everything all the time. It meant listening to all people and beings before taking action.

Watching my cats run and jump between three windows to stalk birds is great. They’re having a grand time and no birds, cats, or vegetation are hurt.

My son and I stopped at the casino to buy Krispy Kreme Pokémon donuts, got lost, and were randomly gifted two tickets to a Goo Goo Dolls concert. In the hallway. By a nice man who literally said “it’s not a trap the seats are nowhere near me.”

I’m supposed to have a fun long weekend away but my (son’s) cat (senior tabby girl) is acting sick again (uti). His sister and dad are away. I have plans tomorrow. We both have plans with my brother Sunday. I requested a med refill, I will go to Petco tomorrow. But I can’t take much more of this.

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.
