I often lament information I want or need is only available embedded in 3+ minute videos. And people ask me why that bothers me so much and I don't just watch the video. This week It clicked for me. I have ADHD - a pathologically short attention span. That would do it

Somehow we predicted a meteor explosion in New England?! 😳 Crazy this happened the literal day before our first episode went live! We were only slightly off in location too! 😅 Maybe there’s something magical in this meteor too? 🤔

This same principle applies to the "self promotion" section if discord. If you aren't meaningfully participating in someone's discord community, no one is going to pay any need to you dropping a link and running.

Repeat this process weekly, also posting at least one post you craft yourself (not a promotional post). If people only see you promoting yourself and your projects, you come across as less genuine. Provided you're doing this, your promotional posts will be taken more seriously.

I'm here to say what a lot of #TTRPG performers trying to establish themselves in the space don't want to hear. You need to grow your presence on social media. It makes finding new fans infinitely easier if each cast member has an established following. Let's talk about how 🧵

A thing that Bsky just added that Twitter had - you can select accounts you follow to show up in a notification feed when they post, which is super helpful for keeping on top of accounts you really want to be social with, or keep updated on Just click this bell on their profile and select "posts"
