I think it's funny that Art Makers Aotearoa formed like 5 years ago and all they've done since they came together is push through a law that says "if you resell fine art, the artist gets a cut" rather than doing anything that could actually help workers in nz's creative sector

I can't even describe how much this hurts. I'm thinking about all the whānau I've talked to this year who support their kids, who came to ask how they could access this care to be told that there was no access currently, but that there was work being done. This government have stolen that hope.
