Why are we kickstarting a new edition of Mexica? With the amount of time we spend these days tethered to the internet, games were you play with big, chunky, tactile wooden pieces are even more fun in 2026 than they were in 2002. And Mexica was already great in 2002!

Ahead our our upcoming Kickstarter, this is the first in our series of 'why we published this game' posts. Gheos is a rebellion against tabletop publishing trends. It gets better with repeated plays. It is tactical, and deeply interactive. It is a huge game in a small box with a short playtime.
