Lack of education about scientific “AI” is dangerous. At my mammography center there’s a release for “AI” to assist in image analysis. AND YOU DEFINITELY WANT THAT. But they don’t explain it’s not ChatGPT so people hear “AI” and opt out of a thing that could find cancer before a doctor can see it.

Scaling back military exercises is a rational decision that Trump has arrived at for the wrong reasons so of course liberals are going into right-winger mode and sounding like birchers.

Some people have memories longer than a goldfish. The employees demanded that the magazine be owned by them with him as an equal and he declined. They weren't collective bargaining or organizing and demanding that someone step down as a leader is not something to be taken lightly.

I seriously think that my boss has AI psychosis. His entire management style is just to tell employees to use AI and he puts massive contracts into AI instead of reviewing them. One of my co-workers failed their probation and got fired because he didn’t train her and she made a mistake.

One thing that we’ve learned over and over again in the last like 5-10 years is that politicians and leaders are no more resistant to online brain worms than the average person, yet nobody’s really sure what we can do to prevent it. I’ve read troubling things about Putin as well.

This sums up the frantic and coerced deployment of "AI" throughout public and private sectors. Results of even cursory audits are horrifying every time, invariably paired with forced adoption and retaliation for asserting professional norms. Colonialism is a cherry on top.
