Great Grey Owl Life span 20 years (wild) mate for life At 4+ weeks chicks now climbs on branches being fed only by the male he will continue feeding and protecting the new owlets for up to 3 months. The female is always near by, she has done her part of incubating and staying in the nest of 4 weeks.
