Hand wringing over if Democrats will be too focused on punishing criminals is pretty funny in light of Trump immediately pardoning all of the insurrectionists.

Obama’s correct, of course, that birtherism didn’t keep him out of the White House, but it also put Trump into the White House. So kind of a mixed bag verdict on American voters really.

Given the shift in media ownership over the Trump era, Democrats REALLY need to learn to ignore media handwringing now. Because I have no doubt their every move for accountability will be attacked from every possible angle.

If Democrats actually win big because people want a check on Trump corruption I expect every move to do so will be covered in the corporate media as being risky to their 2028 position.
