Constantly inspired by the work of German photographer Albert Renger-Patzsch... he's definitely not as well known as he should be. Such an wonderful eye for composition, and amazing to think these industrial studies were made in the 1920s...

I've built up a large collection of images on my daily walks from my house, all filed in a folder called 'Close to Home'. At some point I may do something with the work, but most importantly I find the process of regularly revisiting & photographing familiar places meditative & creatively rewarding.
