I don't know what I did to deserve things going so well in life at the moment. I've spent so much time since childhood being horrifically depressed; now that everything is going well, it feels really odd. I feel hopeful for the future, for spending time with friends, for work, for my hobbies

I paid like £5 to get from Warrington to Liverpool on the weekend Now I'm paying £40 to get from Swindon to Bristol. God I hate the great western mainline

Time for another festival! Off to ArcTanGent this weekend. Time to be a weird animal wagging my gay tail to weird music in weird time signatures 🥰

Phew. That wasn't an easy rebuild. Had to take apart the case, route the AIO hose through the underside of the motherboard, and properly squish everything in there. Pretty happy with how neat it looks tho, considering how tight it is!

I'm really loving where I am living now. It's so peaceful and there's so much green space around me. And I'm feeling a lot less nervous about the new job. The future is looking exciting!!

Well, fuck. The pump on my aio cooler failed. Normally would be a non issue, just buy a new AIO cooler, right? Well my case is atrociously tight and I have to disassemble everything to get the AIO out. and I have a work call I need to join tomorrow from home. Ugh

A bit bummed out about not remembering to buy eclipse glasses in time. I was about to buy some on Saturday but then I forgot. My brain then entirely forgot it was a thing until just now when it was being brought up in a chat. And now no eclipse for me. I will sit under a tree and look at the shadow

Went to IKEA earlier needing spare parts (the tiny dowels that always break). Thought I needed to get them at the end. Turns out I could have just skipped the eating of meatballs, going round the entire place, and spending money on too much bullshit. Those damn Swedes got me good

Cursed to only have Openreach FTTC 80mbps, or Virgin Media 1 gig, as my options for broadband here. Don't know if it's worth going VM. They've had terrible latency spikes for me when I was in Swindon >.>

Picking up the keys to this flat tomorrow. Eeeeek! Just gotta pack and unpack a van one more time... Then order a fridge and washing machine... Then furniture... Then maybe I can relax

Clearing out my stuff and found these bappers that I never sewed together. I really should make things again once I'm all moved up norf I even added elastic inside to try keep hands inside pawbs. Maybe I'll redo the pattern soon

Photo of two halves of plush possum bappers. They are BIG, with some sewn in lines for the pads. They have a lot of polyfil inside to prevent gripping things, and grey fur Photo showing the elastics inside of the scuba neoprene lining. Aimed to keep wearers hands inside pawbs

Contents insurance from the landlord's recommended provider, £20pm Contents insurance from a different provider, £7pm. I can see why they were constantly nagging me to get the landlords one >.>
