While I was driving home yesterday, I was stuck behind this car while in traffic. I couldn't figure out if this was a personalised plate or they just happened to get this unfortunate registration. It literally reads as "Pee Poo"

This is neat but it bothers me that they never let go of the light and let it swing. I presume the system generating the picture isn't fast enough to keep up with that kind of motion

I was just looking through my photos from 2020 and I found a recording I made at the Morrisons supermarket when they were playing "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" which people will recognise from Fallout. It definitely added to the apocalyptic pandemic vibes of the time

Holy moly since I changed mobile network to iD(3), I'm getting some crazy 5G speeds. At work, I was getting below 1Mbps on O2 which was pretty awful and my main reason for changing. I now get around 250Mbps at work which is a massive improvement. I just tested at home and I'm getting almost 500Mbps!

It kinda sucks that I didn't make any arrangements to see the total solar eclipse that's happening next month. All my life I've wanted to be able to witness one first hand and be able to look up at the eclipse safely without a filter. Maybe I'll make plans to go see it in Gibraltar next year...

At yesterday's board game club, I got the opportunity to play the hilarious Magical Athlete. It's a very simple game where the objective is to get to the end of the track using dice rolls but every player uses a racer who has their own unique rules. Chaos ensues. Lots of fun, would recommend!

I can finally say I'm done with upgrading my PC. It started with a new case, then a new GPU and then pretty much a new everything else. I'll use the old parts to make a compact PC for the living room but that's a future project. I wouldn't recommend doing this as a hobby, it was a money drain!

It's great that it's really easy to spot AI posters and logos as it means I know which businesses to avoid. However it struck me as odd that they are all so easy to identify. I hope that doesn't change

Finally secured some tickets to see The Odyssey in 15/70mm IMAX at Manchester Printworks on 15th August as they opened up more advanced bookings so I was able to get some decent seats. 4th row but central so should be good. Can't wait to finally see it in this format, hopefully it's worth the wait
