Web dev, Godot, used to be a real game dev! @ Media Molecule / #MadeInDreams / he/him 🇩🇪

I have settled for Figma now, I think. Feels a bit odd making mid 90s style 256x256 textures in a modern web design suite, but workflow totally works. Barrier of entry + QOL is just a lot better than in many more dedicated tools, I think. What are others using? #indiedev #gamedev #blender

Made my first plane in Blender and put it in the game! Just about starting to get a grip on it, still very much placeholder, but the pipeline works. Been using Aserpite for texturing so far, might switch to more grown-up software though – not happy with the limitations. #Godot #indiedev #gamedev

More #Godot tinkering! Made a plane fly yesterday, added camera today. Aiming for that smooth floating/swooshing-around camera where the plane barely ever sits in the center of the screen, how they do it in Shadow of the Colossus or Ghost oT. (impressive visuals coming later) #indiedev #gamedev

Smh missing the early days of #DreamsPS4. A whole horde of non-professionals being let go rampant on a totally new game engine. Everyone learning side by side. You could post questions like "How do I make frog poo using a look-at-rotator" and get numerous, sincere responses. What a spirit!

Hi all! I'm Andrea, a mid-level environment artist; mostly interested in 3D work, but I try my hand at 2D concept and illustration from time to time. In love with stylized art and drawing plants.

Screenshot from the game "En Garde!". A symmetrical room is shades of red, with a yellow light at the center. The architecture is in the Mudejar style.A screenshot from the game "En Garde!". A small plaza surrounded by a few houses and a lot of plants, in the late afternoon. There are floral drawings on the paved ground. Concept art of a witch's cauldron. The cauldron is hanging from a golden metalic structure made of concentric circles. Next to it are drawings, in a simpler style, of jars and parchments.A screenshot of a 3D scene. We are inside a stone pergola, overlooking grassy hills. There are some weeping willows in the distance.

I know that Arctico will very likely be the most beautiful game I ever create because I will never have the energy and naivety of an 18 year old about to give a decade of his life to a project again. Today Arctico reached 400k units sold!

Would love to make more game stuff again. I used to be able to juggle this just fine as a hobby next to full-time work, recreationally. When I touch game stuff these days, it feels more like work? And I have to do non-creative things recreationally #indiedev #gamedev
