I need inspiration to use the hundreds of field recordings I have made. Come on Bluesky give me ideas! Also I’m thinking of moving all my experimental and electronic music to a different artist name for genre clarity. Is this a good idea?

I would echo this. Come and have a listen to small labels, there’s something there for everyone whatever your taste in music I know times are tough but you can often pick up CDs and vinyls for a few quid. All purchases really help the labels and artist keep going & help us put further releases out

You're not supposed to admit you're struggling. But we r - and I know for a fact we're not alone. The grassroots is dying - it needs U to keep it alive. Buy something from a small label/press. Tell ppl about it who don't often support such things. Explain to them why it's so important. PLS SHARE.

I used to be a Hardcore kid. It's why I hold values like community, boosting initiatives and smaller bands very dearly. I know many of you come from similar circles so I'm sure you feel the same way. So maybe next time instead of clicking like, share something from a small artist/initiative.

was thinking about this the other day — the big problem with the new LLM vendors is they’ve succeeded in completely obscuring and deprioritising specialised ML solutions that actually worked in favour of a general purpose product which largely doesn’t

Most importantly these are all well studied aspects of ML constructs going back decades before we started persuading ourselves these things are actually smarter than they are.
