The thing is, you can right now if you want have a combined solar/aircon install that will mean you are pretty much in profit on electricity generation forever after, and safe from a heatwave. But you have to own your home, & have five digits to spare.

I’ve seen death of difficult people up close (and its impact on others): that’s the only reason it was on my mind as an issue.

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.

Seeing so much "record the TERFs!" and honestly, if you do this inside a crisis centre, a changing room, a toilet you've lost. You cant record people in those spaces.

Trans people are being segregated in prison for v coding as national policy now. I don't think its responsible to encourage trans folks do anything that can get them arrested right now.

The entire plan is to show angry dangerous trans people. I am not telling anyone to not be angry, to supress anger etc, i am asking mostly cis folks to maybe consider not promoting aggressive or confrontational responses to trans folks who are at greater risk.

once more: part of being ‘reformed’ is quietly atoning for the wrong you’ve done. seeking public office is the absolute direct opposite of ‘quietly atoning’

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

important to remember this is not new information and was known at the time. a choice was made to conflate Berger's dispute with her local party and the serious crimes she was a victim of, and that's on the part of journalists as well as Berger herself.
