⚡️ Joe Kent says he, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie are hoping to build a new political movement or third party built around opposition to U.S. wars, AIPAC, and corporate money, with the initial goal of fielding a candidate for the 2028 presidential campaign. In an interview with Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, Kent said the group met at Carlson’s home in Maine after concluding that both major parties repeatedly deliver “another war in the Middle East” regardless of how Americans vote. Kent said they may follow the 2028 presidential run with down-ballot races, and acknowledged ballot-access hurdles may force them to run an insurgent candidate through an existing party instead. “We don’t want Israel dictating our foreign policy. We don’t want any more foreign wars. We don’t want to have to run a massive empire,” he said. Kent said the group has urged Carlson to run but he has repeatedly declined. With 77% of votes counted, El-Sayed led with 49.3% to Stevens’ 46.7%, a margin of 31,606 votes, according to AP estimates. El-Sayed, the former Detroit public health official backed by progressive leaders, is facing Stevens, who has the support of much of the Democratic establishment and outside spending groups, including AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobby. Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed 8 Saudi oil tankers have now been targeted since the blockade began on July 22, and 29 others were forced to turn back. 💢 BREAKING: An Israeli airstrike struck the rooftop of a prayer room at the Tebnine cemetery, killing one person and wounding 11 others, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).. 🔹Israel has launched a wave of attacks across southern Lebanon on Wednesday after two Israeli soldiers were reportedly killed and others wounded after an explosive device detonated inside a building in Majdal Zoun, a village in southern Lebanon that is partially occupied by the Israeli military, according to Israeli media. 🔹Following the explosion, the Israeli military claimed Hezbollah had violated the ceasefire and ordered residents of Al-Mansouri to evacuate north before carrying out two airstrikes on the Mashaa al-Mansouri area south of Tyre (Sour).
