dolly embodied what southern hospitality really is and how we look out for and support our communities, especially marginalized groups. i hope her work in life serves as a blueprint for the goodness we can accomplish in ours.

Dolly Parton rose from poverty to stardom. She gave $500 to every student in her hometown who finished high school; she built hospitals & bald eagle preserves; her Imagination Library has gifted 300 million books to children. Roger Ebert met her and came away thinking she was a literal angel. RIP.

Please do not use an AI generated picture as a reference for a commission. I will definitely decline your request. I am way too tired to see AI everywhere. I can understand it can help to clear a vision, but a very simple sketch is definitely much more favorable than slop.

It still rings true that the best way to get better as an artist is to become so all-consumed with a piece of media or character that you are compelled to draw fanart constantly. Even better if you're horny about it.

We also added thread numbering: Posts in a thread are numbered automatically, so you don't have to do it yourself. You can turn this on in Settings → Beta Features.
