The BioWare announcement got me to look up an article on Veilguard that came out after the reports on its troubled development went public. It hits differently now, but still feels extra relevant today. Veilguard wasn't perfect, but I appreciate what we were able to get. kotaku.com/dragon-age-t...

Every New Detail About Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Development Shows Why It's A Defining Game For BioWare - Kotaku

BioWare was asked to do the impossible, and in doing so, made a game that feels like the team's final word

LRP Fuck, this hurts a lot. My heart goes out to all the artists, developers and support staff affected by this and I hope they land on their feet somewhere quickly. BioWare made some of my all-time favorite games and it's devastating to see such a legacy tossed away because of corporate greed.

Consolidation is killing our industry. The Gamergaters who make money off the rage game will have you think this is a victory. This is purely a loss. A loss of work and art and fun and expression in a space that desperately needs it. Massive fucking bummer.

For more than 30 years, BioWare has been more than a studio. It has been a home for storytellers, developers, an the players who brought our worlds to life.
Baldur's Gate. Neverwinter Nights.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Dragon Age. Mass Effect. Anthem.
Now, after more than three decades of shared adventures, BioWare is closing and early development on the next Mass Effect project is ending.
There is nothing easy about writing those words. Our focu right now is on our incredibly talented team who put thei hearts into these games, and supporting one another through this transition.
What generations of BioWare built together is something t celebrate and remember. These games became so much mor because you played them, debated your choices, fell in love with the characters, and made these worlds your own.

Man, I feel for the seiyuus, staff, and crew that poured hundreds, if not thousands, of hours to prepare for the Umamusume concert, only for it to be cancelled because of government bullshit. That must be absolutely crushing.

Mostly talked about how much I loved everything, but I also begged them to fix the outstanding bugs and continue supporting the game lol. I wasn't sure what to put when they asked about collab partners so I just said Maid Mint lmao.

Bandai Namco has posted a public survey for AC8. The survey includes questions for your opinion on the story, gameplay elements, and marketing, and also has a text input near the end for open-ended feedback. #AceCombat survey.bandainamcoent.co.jp/jfe/form/SV_...
