My artistic self lives in two different mindsets. On one hand I want to draw beautiful scenes filled with incredible details and breathtaking character designs. On the other hand I want to draw lewd ass shit....
Re: Brubaker, Ellis, etc. Good work is good work. I don't feel duped for having bought and enjoyed good stories. HOWEVER, good work is not unique. And let it be known that producing good work does not allow for bad behavior. It is also not a shield that will prevent someone from kicking your ass.
it's weird how The Lovers and Lesbian Space Princess, and also Princess Guinevere and IDWTBAMG, indie/indie adjacent projects by small teams creating stories about queer women, are all getting shat on left and right by progressive animation fans for every possible fault it's just weird. weird!!!
