once again a reminder that we vaccinate against HPV this young because we want to complete the vaccine series BEFORE girls become sexually active. nobody is saying 9 year olds should be sexually active! (and if a child is abused she should also not get a CANCER-CAUSING VIRUS from the abuse!)

Fewer NIH grants awarded means fewer trials for your loved one’s incurable cancer, fewer options for rare childhood disease, fewer cures discovered in your lifetime, less likelihood of discovering the next Ozempic or new antibiotic to combat antibiotic resistance, less surveillance of diseases, etc.
