Accessibility benefits us all. The fact that we still design things inaccessibly is just one more example of how this world is built for those in power and nobody else.

Seeing inaccessibility still incorporated into modern building design not only reflects outdated attitudes towards the disabled community but reminds disabled people that, at the end of the day, these design choices that keep us separate are intentional.
One person in the street with a gun is dangerous, so we send more people with guns, part of an organization with a history of violence and murder, to do something about it. Don't we then have more dangerous people in the street with guns?

Bikes aren’t the reason why traffic is bad. Cars getting in the way of other cars are. The best way to reduce traffic is to give people other options to get around. That means bikes. And transit. And pedestrian-first streets.
