@backpagepod.bsky.social I’m so sorry to hear Samuel’s news. I’d love to help him out but I really don’t want Matthew to get any money so a patron splash won’t work. How can I help?

@onecreditclassics.bsky.social @mkstayontarget.bsky.social Thank you much much for the best seven and a half hours of the last year! Video Wizards never die.
Where someone uses 'please' in a sentence is a great indicator of their level of education and general intellect. If it's at the start, then they're a bit stupid; the middle, complete moron; and at the end, they're clever - or just had a good upbringing.
How did I only play an hour of Wolfenstein: The New Order? It’s brilliant
Don’t get me wrong. I love living in NZ. One thing that’s taken a while to hit though is: why do Kiwis spell “eh?”, “aye?”? When it’s written down it gels like you’re in a room full of Scottish people. #sweetas
When you open up stuff you’ve not seen for years and then you do a little shriek of excitement.
@tcgs.co after listening I downloaded the Raccoin demo. This afternoon has vanished. The same happened to me with Balatro and Clover Pit. I’m deleting it.
@mackeza.bsky.social a huge Fuck Yes to Amplitude on MPC. I’ve been waiting for a single mention of either since the start. If only there was a lag free way to play them now. Great choice!
You’re in a bog standard hotel in a hole of a town and then you come across this
Take me down to the Parallax city where the far moves slow and the near moves quickly
The new Frankenstein is essentially David Bowie in an episode of Highway to Heaven
Absolum is fucking amazing. Belt scrollers have been my jam since Bare Knuckle and this combines the best action with crack like addictive roguelike stuff. Forget Hades 2, this is the real stuff.
And there she goes. Blasphemous 2 finally done. What a cracker. Probably the hardest game I’ve ever competed.
Last night I played What Remains of Edith Finch. It’s really not my kind of game at all, but it absolutely blew me away. It’s hardly news, but it’s a hard recommend. Play it. In the last couple of years, I’ve also really enjoyed and played a load of hours of deck builders too. Age eh?
After probably about a month I’ve finally beaten Eviterno in Blasphemous 2. He was the hardest boss I’ve ever fought. Thank God!
