In UK lore, hares are deeply connected to the harvest. The farmer to cut the last sheaf had to weave the stalks into a small doll, representing the harvest/hare spirit. They had to care for this token all winter, looking after the spirit until spring returned. #FolkWitchFriday #OriginalArt
