Coincidentally, the initials don't change for me and I always wanted to publish under the Two Initial and last name format. Felt distinctly writerish. For the issue of authorship; If the book is republished, the author should be contacted for the option to change or keep it.

I don't want to deadname, I do want people to find the book!
This is the most milquetoast nonoppositional issue they could have chose despite America likely having supported any rallying cry for a change in policy. There is power in reading. So little people do it now, so we've forgotten. They think conversation and movies and influencers are better at getting ideas across than books, and it's so baffling to me. They might be easier to consume but, I doubt better. But maybe I'm a doomer, a boomer. Something.
I don't know what this means but I'm uncomfortable about it.
