I can't stop thinking about how I want to make a ttrpg that completely changes the mechanics by which your character is played depending on their "class"; I'll do it if I can figure out how to not make it a nightmare for the DM.

I just picked up a precision tool set with like FIFTEEN different types of tip. Types I didn’t even know existed! I don’t think I’ve been as pleased or excited with a purchase since I bought my copy of the Oxford Etymological Dictionary! #righttorepair

Reading the Gormenghast novels for the first time and man, are they a treat. Peake’s writing is succulent — “His voice came down from the shadows in huge wads of sound, or like the warm, sick notes of some prodigious mouldering bell of felt.” It’s the kind of sentence you re-read just for the joy.
