I think I'm a pragmatic moralist, but I'm not sure. Morality is made true by what it does in reality. It has no inherent truth independent of what morality does. This almost commits me to consequentialism, but consequentialism may still fail its own test.

I've been drinking more whiskey lately. It's been really relaxing, but not really productive. I feel really content, but contentment that requires alcohol is inherently unsustainable. I'll have to cut back on that. Shame, too. I prize contentment very highly, but life doesn't make it come easy.

They must consider it to be damning. My reddit account got sitewide banned because I posted the report and the posts were taking off. Activists should print copies to hand out and send to their representatives.

I really had to let that sink in for a moment. **Amnesty International UK** is censoring people because of a billionaire.

@amnestyuk.bsky.social Please withdraw this DMCA notification: I know you intend to retract the report now, but you did publish it, and censoring it via copyright strike goes DIRECTLY against your core charitable principle of accountability and respect for human rights/press freedom. cf @amnesty.org

Every dollar billionaire JK Rowling makes is a dollar she will spend on destroying the lives of trans people - a scapegoating driven by Epstein-class billionaires to distract us from the ultra-rich draining our wealth, killing our planet, sabotaging social cohesion, and destroying dissent.

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottom
