Before we go, a quick update on Tarin, our feral foster. She is still very cute and pretty sassy. But she's knows she is safe and can relax. We'd like to thank @crits4cats.org for being our foster mentor. We truly appreciate the support!

Hi folks, we have some news. Remember Tarin, our TNR kitty we hoped could be socialized? We'll, she's back with us for the long haul - our humans have committed to longterm fostering until she's ready for her own home. She's still angry at us for snatching her off the streets, but we have hopes!

She’d clearly never been around people before and was completely terrified, but not aggressive. The area she was found in was unsafe to return to for TNR so we decided to give socialization a try. 🧵
With Cid making such good progress & not going back to his colony, he’s taking up the space I had planned to use for Kickstand, which leaves me looking for someone who wants to foster Kicks (or Cid!) He needs someone experienced socializing shy cats, preferably close to Newark, DE.

We strongly suspect he has cerebellar hypoplasia, a non-degenerative condition that affects his balance and coordination. We’re going to get him fixed and then see if he would like to transition to being a friendly guy.

A PSA- animal rescue is rough on a good day. This summer/winter is shaping up to be anything but for rescuers around the world. The crazy initiated by Trump is impacting supplies, medicine, and donations. Rescuers are pushing deep, and running on empty early. 1/
