As a resident of the Gorton and Denton constituency, I'm still kind of amused about how Reform could even think they could ever get in. I mean, it's precisely the kind of diverse place with a strong sense of community where different ethnicities live side by side and make each other's life better.

New PISA data out England is now top ten in all three areas (reading, maths, science) and the second highest performing country outside of east Asia (after Estonia). This is a huge public policy success.
I'm not a big fan of Just Stop Oil and their tactics. But surely at this point it would be fair for politicians to only ever criticise them while going on at length about how we shouldn't minimise their legitimate concerns about global warming.

Fundamentally, no social democratic party worth its salt and with any sort of historical memory should be incapable of, when seeing fascism re-rear its head, instantly recognising it as the greatest evil, the most existential threat, there is.
One thing Labour really needs to get through its head is that government has huge agenda setting capability. If the prime minister or home secretary calls these people what they are that will form parts of headlines and the like. We saw this under Starmer when the correct response finally came

Most complaints about Bluesky are old complaints about (a) social media and (b) the worst aspects of the left (cf the history of the left since the 1790s) but pinned, for some reason, on the platform that gives you the most control over interactions and the best chance of shutting that shit down
Not unlike how actual scammers operate. Things like a less than careful approach to grammar helps set apart the poorly educated and/or the rushed who don't read carefully. Then isolating the victim is part of the strategy too.
