Imagine if you will a country with politics so poisonously malicious that the Sensible Centrist party will not defend itself from a surging far right, because they have a smart plan to impress and win over the far right with a campaign of new, even more cruel anti-migrant crackdowns.

I keep saying this but I get genuinely angry at every last fucker involved in the 2018/19 shithousing. It's utterly impossible to combat racism when you no longer know who/what to trust. Taking Labour down gave a free pass to every racist dickhead going, now there's no putting the toothpaste back.
She was given police protection from an actual neo Nazi with a history of violence but the entire time she intimated it was Jeremy Corbyn and the left Absolutely cynical stuff leading to the hardest of Brexits and the institutionalisation and mainstreaming of Islamophobia.

It’s not a panacea, but the fascists are getting 20-25% of the vote & aren’t dominating politics in multiparty systems. Also, Americans love to point to 🇮🇱 & 🇬🇧, which are two of the worst-designed parliamentary systems. Anyway, more & stronger parties are absolutely a bulwark against fascism.

As someone whose parents are Indian and Pakistani, this is the only form of "both sides" politics I support.
