Great, now I have to hear about this shit for days on end
Grinding this out. I've been a fan of Abercrombie for years. His narrator is one of my favorites too. James Cameron wants to produce the cinematic version.
Even with all of the new shiny shit to watch I've been grinding out the Highlander TV series. I think it would be an IP ripe for a good modernized version. I know Stahelski is working on the film. I just think more time should be alotted with a lot of ideas instead of a retread of what was done.
Sooooo THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA, nineteen years young, has crept back onto the USA Today best-seller list. #42, not exactly displacing Andy Weir or Suzanne Collins, but icing on the cake is icing on the cake.

Each segment has just enough character and emotion to pull you through their journeys up through that surprising climax. Incredible kills, awesome gadgets, and just enough nerdy world building to get the mind racing. Great final shot. Very curious to see where this goes next.

First time watch on Hulu. Absolutely fantastic. Trachtenberg (again) honors the series and the genre with this bloody masterpiece. Easy top 3 entry for the Yautja movies.
Repost w/the five shows you would be happy to rewatch over and over again for the rest of your life, as your sole TV diet. SUPERNATURAL BATTLESTAR GALACTICA '04 HOUSE MANDALORIAN THE WIRE

Pretty good start so far. The Skarsgard family is having a very good week. The episodes are short and there are 2 released for the premier.
New release. Pretty good so far. Lots of fun melee stuff.
First time watch. A Korean La Femme Nikita with tremendous action sequences, practical effects, and camera work. I wish I would have seen this sooner.
I'm slowing up on my reading goal for the year because I decided to go back through the Stormlight Archive. I've decided to do quick hits with the Murderbot series to prepare for the AppleTV+ show.
Just finished watching this. Cheeky, bombastic, runs long. Balayya is the ridiculous center piece. Highly enjoyable.
I remember watching Dan Patrick and Craig Kilborn while getting ready for school.
The Pitt is television that doesn't just recognize but respects the possibilities of the medium. Long may it run.
It's interesting what happens when you let people who know how to make EPISODES of TELEVISION make episodes of television. And then when those people actually like and appreciate the medium of television? And don't assume their viewers want merely semi-tolerable #content? Whewww good things happen.
Just noticing Virtual Voice narration for audiobooks... what the fuck is that bullshit? No thanks.
I researched some names that came up in the show Severance to see if I could try and figure out what was really going on. All I came up with were a couple of odd residential terms, census terms, and the site of the K-T meteor impact. My best guess = A post ELE human society not on Earth.
Currently rewatching. Easy top 5 Arnie film. Surprised it hasnt been remade or sequelized.

I really miss those 4 years of waking up and looking at my phone without overwhelming existential dread.
I don’t think she’s been forgotten, but all the fiction of Lois McMaster Bujold, especially the Vorkosigan saga—all of it should be way, way more famous, in my opinion. She’s one of my favorite novelists, full stop. I would die of delight if smart creative folks made a good Vorkosigan TV series.
There are many writers of quality SFF - especially women - who never became celebrities and whose work imo far outstrips Gaiman's. And, yes, many - especially women - have been forgotten.
