I write dubious consent pieces with monsters and humans. I am disgusted by this. Do not treat anybody as sex objects without their affirmative, enthusiastic consent. Fuck off with your fucked up bullshit.

That’s twice now in two days I’ve been disgusted by posts from romance authors about the treatment of men they know personally. First the Discord thing, now a mother laughing at her son’s discomfort over women’s behaviour in B&N. ⬇️

My response: Your son not feeling safe in Barnes and Noble because women are creeping on him and getting into his personal space is … ‘funny’ and you ‘can’t stop laughing’? Really? After what happened at the romance con? After the Discord drama? As his mum, you find this funny? He doesn’t think it’s funny because it’s really gross actually. Responding to a post where an author is laughing at her son feeling uncomfortable being objectified in B&N.

Spreading the word. What that author did to these men is disgusting. Excusing it as, ‘It was a safe space for women’ and ‘women only’ makes me ill and angry. There is NEVER a good excuse for sharing intimate pictures of ANYONE what their consent. Absolutely reprehensible.

Update on the bratty situation (spread the word) I just had someone come forward (who will remain nameless) that thinks he might be in one of the pictures. And if that’s the case, I can verify that he DEFINITELY did NOT give consent. Oh and btw. Two others have come forward and confirmed that they did not give her permission to share them. I’ll release the evidence later. Good game, Nicolle. You just lost. We would like to give justice to anyone who is still unidentified- please spread and share this like wildfire, we are currently organizing a case to open with the police. They can contact myself or @sunbird_sixx. We will not release their names publicly (unless they want to do it themselves), because protecting the victims is more important than clout. Thank you.
