I have just realised that Emily Wilson feels the same about The Odyssey as I do about any legal procedural. That realisation has made me empathise with her more than anything else.
Looks like I decided to come home just in time. My line was suspended while I was still on the train. I was past the fault.
I'm glad he got a last epic ride in before the end. That's all we can hope for.

I think it is probably a good thing that when the identity of prominent business people has been revealed after their conviction I still have no idea who they are.
I really hate that schools have real-time attendance rolls now. Someone checks the wrong box and your kid gets marked as absent and messages go to parents immediately demanding an explanation. It would be a far better system if they left it to the end of the day to cross-check.
What these people do not get is that a lot of us came here because we have more control over who gets in our TL. We will leave as soon as that choice goes. The idea that we shouldn't get to choose who to hear from or talk to should be one that should be resisted.
