#StillDoinCDs John Lee Hooker from Tutwiler, Mississippi began recording while working in a Detroit steel mill: “Boogie Chillen,” his 1st release in 1948, became a top recording; 1962’s “Boom Boom” became a standard. This 2002 ‘Best of’ from Canada has toppers digitally enhanced.

A photo of Hooker as a 60-something wearing a pale, light leather jacket and a dark brown top hat with a hatband matching the jacket. Tracks:

My Victory Garden! The last year has been so tough, but I find joy here. Marigolds, onions, corn, radishes, sun flowers, jalapenos, tomatoes, beans, tomatillos, beans, a hyssop (maybe). The marigolds are likely moving soon.

Four foot square garden with many plants and bird netting.
