Me and Wubb will be trying to move out by January when our lease is up at our current apartment. As much as we adore our home and have spent 5+ years here, the unfortunate reality is that we’ve got very toxic family members that know where we live. My side of the family thankfully keeps to themselves and only pesters me on occasions, Wubb’s side has frankly gotten to a point of being extremely concerning. Thankfully we are not in immediate danger, but without going into too much detail - we are constantly on edge on whether or not that may change in the drop of a hat (considering how far gone mentally this specific family member is.) So with the donation goal that I set up, this is being used to save for a deposit for a rented out house and/or townhome, if we manage to surpass it (or have saved up on our end to be able to afford a deposit) the money will still be used to help with moving. Either with renting a moving van or with starting us off with the first year’s rent when we find a new place. With moving, we hope to not only get into a bigger - more roomier space. But more importantly a peace of mind knowing that we are away from the family members that aren’t in the right state of mind at the moment.
