The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

Some summertime Charlotte Did up a couple of sketches for some example beachwear for a little event a mutual is hosting. Figured I'd share her here too! Doodling these up got me thinking of some other sketches as well. So, if you want some more beach Charlotte, let me know! #sketch

A digital drawing of my character, Charlotte Fletcher, dressed in a swimsuit on the beach. There are four figures, alternating front and back facing, with different styles of swimsuit to show off.

I hope we as a culture are finally coming back around to “small talk is good actually” because you need to slowly get to know someone before being vulnerable and intimate and small talk helps you build that relationship

Going to attempt a nuanced statement here, bear with me. Being conservative (a specific brand of lower case c conservative) is not going to stop someone from making great art. But the kind of meddling we see from the billionaire class trying to buy out culture makes any kind of great art impossible.

If SCREEN were to pass, you'd be required to scan your face and upload an ID to access this site because it allows "harmful" material. This affects you even if you don't care about sex work or porn.

Mike Lee's SCREEN Act, which heads to Senate Commerce Committee for markup on Wednesday, would expand age verification requirements to a nearly limitless scope of websites, and is supported by the architects of Project 2025.

You can never just move on from this, even after he's gone. Without punishment and ostracism for everyone who has participated in his crime spree over the last 18 months you can forget it- we're all just treading water until the next tyrant

“.. Trump has leveraged his control of the federal government to instead escape the scrutiny that every other modern president, not to mention every other regular taxpayer, has been subject to.” @nytimes.com www.nytimes.com/2026/08/03/b...

“Unlike KOSA and many of the other age verification laws that have spread across the country, the SCREEN Act does not have bipartisan support. It’s the latest in Lee’s repeated attempts to criminalize content he and his co-sponsors personally consider immoral.”
